At the heart of our logo is a simple fig—one quiet form holding a much larger story.

Three years ago, on my birthday, my brother Adnan Elgay gave me his final gift: three dried figs, carefully held in his hands like flowers. In that small gesture was everything he was—present, thoughtful, and full of love that never needed to be spoken loudly to be felt deeply.

Adnan was full of life. He laughed deeply, found joy in simple moments, traveled far, and moved through the world with curiosity and ease. He loved art—he painted, he sculpted—and in everything he did there was a quiet sense of love, patience, and attention that shaped the way he lived.

He is the reason I am who I am today. He taught me kindness, patience, joy, generosity, love, and the quiet strength of creativity. He would always remind me not to rush, to take my time—and in many ways, that is how both art and life unfold, slowly revealing themselves in their own time.

This fig is for Adnan—a reminder of his unconditional love, patience, joy, and kindness carried forward in something so simple, so lasting. In a sense, the fig is love itself.
